There’s been a murder in the desert town of Albara. The mayor has been killed in his home, leaving the town without their lighthouse.

Ghastlight, the magical beacon that guides travelers through the inhospitable deadlands, will not burn without a mayor, and no one can approach the lighthouse while the mayor’s ghost still roams.

The ghost won’t let anyone pass until vengeance is served upon his murder.

 

But there’s a problem.

 

The man accused won’t bleed, and in Albara, only the innocent cannot shed blood. Navigate through the inhospitable deadlands, solve the murder of the mayor, and find someone else willing to operate the lighthouse. If you fail, trade to Albara will cease entirely.

One Bloodless Town is an adventure compatible with the 5th edition of your favorite dungeon-crawling RPG. It's suitable for characters of third-fifth level, though other partiers may find success here as well.
