This game is being itchfunded: during this process, it will be discounted.

When it reaches $350, I will hire Rachel Bennett (who made the cover, and with whom I have collaborated with in the past) to do layout.

Today's Passing is a love letter to Daytripper, a graphic novel about an obituary writer who dies at the end of each chapter. Daytripper examines the life of Brás through the lens of death: we follow him through a period of his life, and then he dies. And we get to see how his life is interpreted through that series of events.

Playtesters have described Today's Passing as being a "really cool exploration into a character", and have commented on the Tone mechanics encouraging them to make decisions they otherwise wouldn't.

Over the course of a game, you will answer prompts about pivotal events in your life—the most important watershed moments where everything changes— and then, ultimately, you will die. And you'll write an obituary, tying those pivotal events together.
And then you do it again. Again and again, you embark on different stubs, different paths of "what if..."

Today's Passing is an exploration of life through death, of endings and beginnings, of taking risks and failing. It's a deeply personal game that I hope you can relate to as much as I do.
